Trade & Working Capital Client Service Account Manager – Associate (all genders)

As a Client Service Account Manager – Associate in the Trade & Working Capital team, you will provide first class client service to top clients within the DACH region. You will resolve complex client inquiries, review local German Law and Language guarantees, and be the subject matter expert for sales and in country service requirements of the Banking team. Your leadership will develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and Large, Mid Cap and Subsidiary clients and maintain high standards of client satisfaction.

Job responsibilities

• Perform the review of Guarantees, SBLCs subject to German Law and ICC Rules.
• Resolve complex client inquiries related to trade finance transactions.
• Work with front office, back office, and stakeholders for seamless client experience.
• Ensure adherence to firm policies, procedures, and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation.
• Investigate and resolve complex customer requirements with effective solutions.
• Implement process improvements to drive greater efficiency.
• Participate in departmental initiatives to advance business strategy and objectives.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written).
• In-depth understanding of trade finance products, current market practices, UCP600, ISP98, German Federal Code/Law, and regulatory issues.
• Strong experience in client facing roles.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multi-tasking skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain a network.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight schedules in a high-risk environment.
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
