Joby Flight Research designs, develops, and flight-tests novel aircraft using a software-first autonomy approach. We build and deploy autonomy, perception, planning, and radar systems across conventional, electric, and hydrogen-electric aircraft in both CTOL and VTOL configurations.
Joby Aviation is seeking a passionate student to join the Flight Research team in Santa Cruz, CA as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. This individual would be responsible for designing testing equipment, ground support equipment, and related manufacturing tooling. This role will involve design work starting at the conceptual level through full modeling and continue into manufacturing and testing.
Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is undergrad: $22.00 - $31.00/ hourgraduate: $5,550 - $7,800/ month. The compensation package will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
