Equity Research Senior Associate - Building Products, Paper & Packaging

Jefferies Equity Research is seeking a senior research associate to join our Building Products and Paper & Packaging Team.  The candidate will support a Senior Analyst and will be part of a team that conducts extensive industry, company and macroeconomic analysis.

 

Responsibilities

• Senior Associate will work with the Senior Analyst on:
• Modeling financial statements and conducting fundamental research
• Writing actionable research reports on public companies 
• Following and analyzing industry trends
• Maintaining relationships with company and industry contacts
• Interacting with Sales and buy-side clients

 

QualificationsRequired

• Good Financial modeling skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of finance and accounting
• Excellent analytical ability
• Strong interpersonal skills to enable development and maintenance of relationships with team members, buy-side clients and corporate contacts
• Team oriented, motivated individual

 

Preferred

• 3-6 years of work experience in an analytical field like equity research (industrials / consumer background preferred), accounting, banking, consulting, and corporate finance. 

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135,000 - $165,000.
