The HR Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to leaders across Invesco's EMEA Enterprise Teams, helping drive organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and talent outcomes that support business performance and enterprise priorities.
This role partners closely with senior leaders across multiple functions and countries, providing guidance on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, leadership effectiveness, employee relations, and change management. The successful candidate will bring strong business acumen, deep understanding of EMEA employment practices, and the ability to navigate a complex, highly matrixed international environment.
The role requires balancing enterprise consistency with local market realities while helping leaders build high-performing, engaged, and inclusive teams.
Responsibilities include:
Strategic Business Partnership
Building trusted advisor relationships with leaders across EMEA Enterprise Teams.
Translating business and functional strategies into workforce and talent plans.
Provide coaching and challenge to leaders on organizational, talent, and leadership matters.
Using workforce insights and business data to identify risks, opportunities, and priorities.
Partnering with leaders to increase organizational effectiveness and execution capability.
Organizational Effectiveness & Workforce Planning
Partnering with business leaders to design organizations that support strategic objectives.
Leading workforce planning initiatives, including capability planning and organizational redesign efforts.
Identifying organizational risks, succession gaps, and capability needs.
Supporting leaders through periods of transformation, growth, restructuring, and change.
Driving effective organizational decision making while balancing employee experience and business outcomes.
Talent & Leadership
Facilitating talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership assessment discussions.
Partnering with leaders to strengthen leadership pipelines and critical talent pools.
Supporting internal mobility and career development initiatives.
Coaching leaders on performance management, feedback, employee development, and team effectiveness.
Promoting a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous development.
Employee Relations & Risk Management
Providing expert guidance on complex employee relations matters across EMEA jurisdictions.
Partnering closely with Legal, Employee Relations, Compliance, and HR Centers of Excellence.
Ensuring consistent application of policy, employment legislation, and governance requirements.
Mitigating organizational and people-related risk while enabling business performance.
Supporting sensitive employee matters with sound judgment and professionalism.
Change & Transformation
Partnering with leaders to successfully implement enterprise initiatives and organizational change.
Developing strategies that drive adoption, engagement, and organizational readiness.
Supporting communication and stakeholder management efforts during periods of change.
Ensuring people implications are considered in business decision making.
What you can bring:
Progressive HR Business Partner experience supporting senior leaders.
Experience in asset management, financial services, banking, insurance, professional services, or a similarly complex regulated environment preferred.
Experience supporting leaders across multiple EMEA countries.
Strong knowledge of EMEA employment practices and employee relations considerations.
Demonstrated experience advising leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and change management.
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and navigate a matrixed global organization.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate workforce data into actionable insights.
Ability to balance commercial priorities with risk management and employee experience.
Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
