GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION
Support fund-level financial analysis, liquidity planning, investor reporting, and operational oversight across Invesco Real Estate institutional funds.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Manage open- and/or closed-ended real estate funds in coordination with portfolio management, accounting, legal, capital markets and investor relations to improve performance, monitor risks, and ensure compliance with partnership and debt agreements.
- Prepare quarterly fund reports, investor presentations, and other strategic communications for internal and external stakeholders, which include performance metrics for the Fund, its underlying investments, and investors.
- Assist with fund balance sheet management; including liquidity management, investor flows, financing activities, capital planning and forecasting cash flows.
- Refine and maintain fund models with underlying investment cash flows, fund dashboards, liquidity forecasts, debt databases, and other analytical tools to evaluate fund performance, debt covenants, valuations, and other key metrics; effectively communicate actionable insights to support fund decision making.
- Assist with the coordination and oversight of third-party service providers, fund administrators, and key business partners to support fund operations, reporting and governance activities.
- Review peer performance materials, public filings, financial statements, and industry data to identify trends, opportunities, and relevant market intelligence.
- Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives, including RFPs, DDQs, investor requests, consultant inquiries, and other business development efforts.
- Oversee day-to-day workflow and activities performed by Hyderabad team counterparts including training, quality control, and identifying additional opportunities for efficiency.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement opportunities to leverage AI tools, prompt engineering, and process automation to enhance operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and team productivity.
- Maintain working knowledge of fund goals, objectives, investment guidelines, portfolio strategy, and peer landscape.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-Related Preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 2-4 years in real estate investment or private equity environment
- Commercial real estate equity and debt experience
- Familiarity with closed-end and/or open-end funds with institutional investors
- Experience with JV/investor waterfalls, trial balances, and GAAP financial statements
SKILLS:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and forecasting
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Willingness to learn and take initiative; self-starter with natural curiosity
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of structured real estate investments, funds, and accounting concepts
- Organized, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Experience authoring effective AI prompts and leveraging generative AI tools to improve operational efficiency, process automation, and productivity
