As today's Intel processor technology progresses with higher complexities and faster delivery time to the market, the CPU Validation team is tasked to meet these new technological challenges by ensuring all CPU designs meet or exceed the quality goals in the most efficient way possible. As a Validation Graduate Talent, you will work with tools to validate and debug the latest CPU feature in the next generation CPU designs. The work encompasses:
Understand the architecture/designs of specific functional blocks of a processor feature to enhance the tool
Ensure effectiveness and coverage of test tool developed in the qualification of the new designs
Practice the software development process and test/QA process to ensure software of high quality
Work closely with the content and debug team in silicon debug
Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering and preferably with experience in software development and strong interests in PC architecture.
Knowledge/experience in x86 CPU architecture, computer system or CPU features, C/C++/C#/assembly/Python programming or silicon validation/debug is an added advantage.
