Why this role matters:
As a Production Technician, Electronics, you play a vital role in ensuring ICEYE's satellites are built to fly. You will execute assigned electronic assembly, integration, and testing tasks with high precision and reliability, following established procedures and work instructions. Working under the guidance of Senior Technicians and Production Line Owners, you will ensure process consistency and report technical observations. You are responsible for the quality of your individual work, ensuring all electronic assemblies meet ICEYE's standards for flight readiness.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
Perform electronic assembly and integration activities according to standard operating procedures, including soldering, harness routing, PCB handling, and basic subsystem setups
Operate mechanical and electrical ground support equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes) to support smooth test operations
Strictly follow work instructions, travelers, and checklists, completing all documentation accurately and in real-time
Identify and report build or process deviations immediately, supporting root cause analysis by providing accurate technical observations to the technical leadership team
Prepare test environments, verify configurations, and provide technical input during line meetings in support of Production Line Owners and Team Leaders
Maintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready work environment compliant with ESD, safety, and cleanliness standards
What we’re looking for
Must haves:
Degree in Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience in a high-reliability environment
1-2 years of practical experience in electronic assembly and test including soldering, harness routing, and PCB handling
Experience using lab equipment including power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to follow strict technical procedures and documentation requirements
Proficient English (written and spoken) for cross-functional collaboration
Nice to haves:
Experience with satellite avionics, power subsystems, and flight-critical command handling
Advanced IPC certifications (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum)
Experience with Atlassian Cloud tools (Jira, Confluence)
Aerospace or space industry background
Lean and Six Sigma experience
