As an Account Technical Representative in Finance, you will manage and support the technical aspects of accounts, acting as the primary technical contact for hardware and software issues.
You will lead teams of Technical Availability Representatives and provide technical guidance to less experienced personnel.
Your primary responsibilities will include
- Manage Technical Aspects: Manage and support the technical aspects of accounts, acting as the primary technical contact for hardware and software issues, ensuring customer satisfaction with service delivery, technical support, and operational services.
- Lead Teams: Lead teams of Technical Availability Representatives, providing technical guidance to less experienced personnel, and planning and executing hardware and software services activities.
- Execute Hardware and Software Services: Plan and execute hardware and software services activities, including installation, problem determination, and diagnosis, utilizing knowledge of VMware, SAN software, data storage, NAS/SAN, OpenMediaVault, Hadoop, and similar source storage applications.
- Protect Revenue Base: Protect the revenue base and identify new services opportunities, serving as the IBM technical interface to customers in critical situations, managing the situation until the problem is resolved.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to less experienced personnel, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality technical support.
- Exposure to Technical Support: Experience working with technical support teams, managing and resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction with service delivery and technical support.
- Team Leadership: Experience working with teams, providing technical guidance to less experienced personnel, and leading teams to achieve technical goals and objectives.
- Hardware and Software Services: Exposure to planning and executing hardware and software services activities, including installation, problem determination, and diagnosis.
- Storage Applications: Experience working with storage applications such as VMware, SAN software, data storage, NAS/SAN, OpenMediaVault, Hadoop, and similar source storage applications.
- Technical Interface: Exposure to serving as a technical interface to customers, managing critical situations, and resolving problems in a timely and effective manner.
- Deep Understanding of Storage: Experience working with various storage applications, including VMware, SAN software, data storage, NAS/SAN, OpenMediaVault, and Hadoop, is beneficial for this role.
- Familiarity with Technical Strategy: Knowledge of IBM's technical support strategy and experience working with technical support teams can be advantageous in this position.
