The SAP Procurement Functional Consultant will lead the design, configuration and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Materials Management (MM) solutions within a complex enterprise or government environment. This role focuses on procurement processes, materials management, compliance, system integration and business engagement. The consultant will work closely with procurement, supply chain, finance and technical teams to ensure SAP procurement capabilities meet operational, commercial and governance requirements. Responsibilities: • Lead functional design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA MM including procurement, sourcing, purchasing, inventory management, invoicing and materials planning. • Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications and system design. • Design and optimize end‑to‑end procurement processes including requisitioning, purchase orders, goods receipt, supplier management, contracts and invoice processing. • Provide expert advice on SAP best practices, procurement compliance and integration with finance, asset management and supply chain functions. • Develop functional documentation including process maps, configuration guides, design documents and training materials. • Support testing cycles including scenario development, defect analysis and validation of procurement processes. • Work with technical teams to support enhancements, interfaces, workflow, forms and reporting requirements. • Participate in stakeholder workshops, design walkthroughs and governance forums. • Support cutover planning, data migration activities and post‑go‑live procurement process stabilization. • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement performance, compliance and system utilization.
