Data Engineer - Data Integration

ETL/ELT Design & Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate heterogeneous data sources from travel and transportation operational systems. Database Management: Collaborate on the data modeling, maintenance, and performance optimization of relational and non-relational databases. Data Integration: Manage data pipelines connecting booking, ticketing, and logistics platforms to ensure data quality and consistency. Troubleshooting & Monitoring: Monitor existing data integration processes and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks and anomalies. Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, or BI roles, preferably within the Travel & Transportation industry. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT processes. Solid proficiency in SQL and relational database systems. Experience using scripting languages (e.g., Python) or data integration tools for pipeline management. Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments. Experience with cloud-based data integration and analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow). Knowledge of specific data architectures and flows typical of the travel and transport sector (e.g., fleet management systems, geolocation data, or ticketing systems).
