IOS and Android Malware Specialist/Associate Director, Software Engineering

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of an Associate Director, Software Engineering

In this role, you will

• Analyse Android/iOS mobile malware (static/dynamic), extract IOCs, and explain risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Guide on protection against mobile malware, cyber, and fraud attacks.
• Gather and monitor mobile threat intelligence; stay current on trends and zero-day threats.
• Lead resolution of complex security issues and act as primary IT Security contact for mobile.
• Educate teams on secure development and best practices.
• Collaborate with vendors, platform teams, and SMEs.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Hands-on experience in mobile malware analysis and reverse engineering (Android/iOS), and related risk mitigation.
• Strong knowledge of iOS/Android security architectures and threat landscape.
• Ability to set up analysis environments and recreate attack scenarios.
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with DevOps/Agile and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, JIRA)

Non-technical skills:

• Security certifications (e.g., OSCP, GIAC).
• Experience with AI-based attacks and mitigation.
• Degree in a relevant field (desirable).
