Senior Global Markets Operations Manager - FX Options Lead - Hang Seng Bank (HK)

Global Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post execution.  We manage settlement activity, risk and control, while ensuring the delivery of regulatory compliance and seamless operational client service.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Global Markets Operations Manager – FX Options Lead

Principal responsibilities

• Lead and manage the team to provide operations support for FX Options coordinating with relevant parties to ensure all services pledged are met
• Design and implement operational procedures complied with internal guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements
• Lead and participate in the development, testing and implementation of new business and system enhancements
• Implement strategies to optimize processes enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Continuously monitoring team performance and execute team and people growth plans aligning to business objectives   

Requirements

• University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
• Minimum of ten years' investment banking operations experience with Global Market products, with track record of hands-on approach to FXMM and FX Options
• At least 2 years of management experience leading a team through a dynamic environment will be an advantage
• Excellent understanding of payments, controls and regulatory reporting
• Proven track record of driving change through innovation and automation
• Attentiveness to details and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and under pressure
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
