Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, or Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–15 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in C#/.NET technologies, Linux environments, and enterprise application development. Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and KVM is preferred.
What you’ll do:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and backend services using C# and .NET/.NET Core technologies.
- Work on application development using Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployment models.
- Collaborate with virtualization and infrastructure teams to support solutions running on VMware and KVM platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, deployment, and environment-related issues across Linux-based systems.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, unit testing, and support automation and quality initiatives.
- Integrate AI-assisted engineering practices and tools into the software development lifecycle to improve developer productivity, accelerate troubleshooting, enhance code quality, and streamline automation workflows.
- Utilize AI-powered coding and debugging assistants (such as GitHub Copilot or similar platforms) to support development, code optimization, testing, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and product teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements for scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices in .NET, virtualization, and Linux platforms.
- Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and flexibility in handling technical deliverables and project responsibilities.
What you need to bring:
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and containerized application development.
- Strong understanding of designing and integrating complex software systems across multiple platform environments into scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise architectures.
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM.
- Experience or understanding of disaster recovery, replication, failover/failback, business continuity, and resiliency solutions within virtualized and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience with software testing methodologies including unit testing, debugging, test automation, and scripting.
- Good understanding of SQL Server and database design concepts.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in application performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience leveraging AI-assisted software development tools and intelligent engineering workflows for code generation, debugging, testing, code review, and productivity optimization.
- Familiarity with modern AI-enabled developer ecosystems and engineering best practices.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to independently drive technical tasks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
