Position Purpose:
The Sr Analyst, SEO - National & Private Brands is responsible for driving growth and optimizing the customer experience across assigned National Brand and Private Brand experiences on homedepot.com. This role serves as the primary partner for these brand experiences, collaborating with a broad network of cross functional teams to develop, enhance, and optimize brand pages and digital experiences that support both business objectives and customer needs.
The Sr Analyst, SEO - National & Private Brands will leverage data, customer insights, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices to identify opportunities, prioritize enhancements, and implement strategies that improve discoverability, engagement, and overall page performance. This role will analyze website performance to uncover trends, evaluate the impact of optimizations, and recommend solutions that drive continuous improvement across National Brand and Private Brand experiences.
Success in this role requires strong collaboration with internal business teams, merchandising, engineering, UX, content, marketing, analytics, third party service providers, and vendors to deliver high quality brand experiences. The Sr. Analyst will also help identify new workflows, optimization opportunities, and innovative approaches to improve the customer experience, including exploring emerging capabilities such as AI driven optimization and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Key Responsibilities:
20 % Cross-functional partnership- Meet with key stakeholders and business partners to align on opportunities and risks, strategic priorities, and to share category/site level insights. Represent SEO for assigned categories and work with partners to ensure SEO metrics are understood and prioritized into overall workstreams.
10% Professional Development and Process Improvement- Staying informed on the latest industry changes with SEO and working to incorporate new strategies into existing processes.
25% Project planning and implementation- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to plan, prioritize, and implement SEO optimizations.
15% Reporting & Measurement- Track the performance of assigned categories/functions, measure the impact of SEO optimization projects, and provide data-driven insights for continued improvement.
30% SEO Strategy and Analysis- Monitor keyword/site performance and conduct research to identify opportunities to increase organic traffic and content visibility.

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with enterprise-level SEO, preferably in an e-commerce environment
Proven track record with successfully advocating for SEO, prioritizing work in a highly-matrixed environment, and measuring the impact of optimizations
Deep experience with SEO and industry-accepted best practices
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify insights
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Experience with enterprise-level SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Deepcrawl, Brightedge, Moz, etc.
Minimum Education:
