The Opportunity
Join us as a CPQ & Digital Commerce Solution Architect and play a key role in shaping and delivering innovative sales and commerce solutions across the organization. Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, consultants, and technology teams, you will design scalable and efficient solutions leveraging Salesforce, Conga CPQ, and Digital Commerce platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of our sales ecosystem, drive process improvements, and contribute to the ongoing development of our Center of Excellence.
How You'll Make an Impact
Define the CPQ and Digital Commerce technical solution and ensures alignment with Salesforce, back‑end systems (e.g. ERP), and other integrated applications through close collaboration with other solution architects.
Engage in requirements engineering to determine which business requirements are met by standard Conga CPQ / Digital Commerce / Salesforce capabilities, which require configuration or customization, and where workarounds are acceptable. Also work closely with users to understand current sales processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Support validation and prioritization of incoming business demand in collaboration with Product Owners, business functions, CPQ functional consultants, and third‑party partners.
Translate functional designs into detailed functional and technical specifications; reviews and signs off on functional and technical use‑case documentation.
Communicate technical specifications clearly to development teams (Salesforce, CPQ, integrations).
Participate in unit testing and support UAT testing and defect resolution, especially around product configuration, pricing, approvals, and sales workflows.
Define rules, principles, and architectural guidelines for the development of CPQ and Digital Commerce solutions.
Determine non‑functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, security) and ensure they are considered in solution design and operations.
Keep knowledge up to date on CPQ, Salesforce, and Digital Commerce technologies and industry best practices, bringing learnings into the Center of Excellence and ensure that solution documentation and training materials are created, maintained, and kept up to date.
Collaborate with users during projects and problem management to maintain, evolve, and deploy efficient and cost‑effective sales and commerce solutions and consult and advises on the introduction of new CPQ/Digital Commerce solutions or changes to existing implementations, also work with other streams (ERP, Finance, Order Management, Integration) to assess cross‑stream impacts and deliver an optimized end‑user solution.
Support the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of CPQ and Digital Commerce processes within the area of responsibility.
In collaboration with the Enterprise Architect, ensure adherence to solution and service‑related architectural standards.
Your Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven of experience in software architecture and design.
Proven experience with Conga RLP Conga CPQ, Salesforce Revanue Cloud or similar platforms.
Experience in the Energy sector or B2B market is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of a CPQ-like solution (preferably Conga/ Salesforce).
Angular and C# knowledge
Proficiency in integration technologies (Mulesoft) and APIs.
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
