The opportunity

How you’ll make an impact
1.You will review technical documents released by R&D and facilitate their implementation within operations and service organizations.
2.You will provide professional technical communication with customers and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. Perform engineering design for GIS retrofit, upgrade, expansion, and service projects. Participate in site visits, technical discussions, and project design review meetings.
3.You will prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and related documents using global engineering design tools. Create project BOMs and maintain engineering master data. Release project materials and engineering documentation according to project requirements. Ensure engineering deliverables comply with company procedures and customer specifications. Support technical issue resolution during procurement, manufacturing, and site installation activities.
4.You will analyze and resolve technical issues arising during production and project execution. Lead investigations of design-related issues and coordinate corrective actions. Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
5.You will support engineering process optimization and standardization initiatives. Promote the implementation of engineering standards across projects.
6.You will provide GIS product and engineering training to customers and internal teams.
7.You will follow safety rules, safe working practices, and environmental responsibilities. Report unsafe practices, behaviors, and risks.

Your background
1.Bachelor’s degree or above. Major in Electrical Engineering, High Voltage Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or related disciplines.
2.Minimum 5 years of experience in GIS engineering design, manufacturing, commissioning, or service activities. Experience in GIS retrofit, extension, modernization, or service projects is preferred.
3.Strong knowledge of GIS structure, operating principles, and applications.
4.Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering design software. Familiarity with 3D engineering software is preferred. Good knowledge of SAP, BOM management, and engineering data management.
5.Ability to independently prepare and review technical specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documentation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6.Good command of spoken and written English.
