The opportunity
Location: Zaventem, Belgium and/or Rotterdam, Netherlands
Reporting Line: Reporting directly to the Sales Manager Benelux
We are looking for a driven and customer-focused Strategic Account Manager to strengthen our commercial team in the Benelux region.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic customer relationships, driving profitable growth, and positioning our solutions across the Energy & Utilities value chain, including Transmission System Operators (TSOs), renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), data centers, industrial clusters (ports, petrochemical, chemical and steel), and EPC contractors supporting critical grid infrastructure projects.
You will act as the main point of contact for the selected key account, ensuring a coordinated and high-value approach across our organization. Working closely with the Sales Manager Benelux and cross-functional teams, you will play a critical role in shaping account strategies and delivering sustainable business growth.

How you'll make an impact
Own and develop strategic customer relationships
Act as the primary interface for key accounts, building long-term partnerships, understanding customer strategies, and positioning our offerings to support their business objectives.
Drive account growth and commercial performance
Develop and implement structured account plans, identify new business opportunities, and ensure consistent growth in order intake, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Deliver a coordinated and value-driven sales approach
Orchestrate internal stakeholders across business units, engineering, service, and tendering teams to provide integrated and competitive solutions aligned with customer needs.
Manage complex sales cycles and opportunities
Lead commercial discussions, proposals, and negotiations, ensuring alignment with customer expectations while meeting business targets on volume, margin, and risk.
Leverage market insights and strengthen positioning
Monitor customer developments, market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and anticipate customer needs.
Ensure disciplined execution and customer excellence
Drive effective use of CRM tools, pipeline management, and forecasting. Ensure high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of the overall customer experience.
Your background
University degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development within an industrial, technical, or project-driven environment
Proven experience managing complex customer relationships and sales cycles, ideally in sectors such as Energy, Renewables, T&D, Industry, EPC, Pharma, Data Centers
Strong ability to develop strategic account plans and deliver measurable business growth
Experience working in a matrix and international organization, coordinating multiple stakeholders
Solid commercial acumen, including negotiation, value-based selling, and contract management
Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
Structured, proactive, and results-driven approach
Fluency in French and English; Dutch is an asset
Willingness to travel across Belgium and the Netherlands
