The opportunity:
You will be a part of the AIS, Power Quality products Primary Engineering team. You will be supporting the project engineers / Project Lead engineers to develop project specific engineering documents and drawings for submission to customer and the documents required for manufacturing of Air Insulated Switchgears (AIS), Power Quality & Industry Components of transmission and sub-transmission systems. You will be an individual contributor who would deliver the tasks as per the given inputs and when required need to work in coordination with other colleagues and should exhibit good collaborative skills to complete the task. You may also interact with other departments like Secondary engineering, order management, power system study team, Steel structure engineering, Project Management and Production units.
How you’ll make an impact:
1. Preparation of 3D modelling of high voltage Surge Arresters, Capacitor Banks, Disconnectors, Battery Energy Storage Systems and other HVC related Products (>66kV and above).
2. Generating BoM of modules and products and creating part numbers using SAP
3. Co-ordination and reviewing the 2D and 3D drawings before submitting the same to customers.
4. Preparation of guaranteed technical parameters for various high voltage.
5. Addressing the technical queries raised by customer during execution of project in case if required.
6. Supporting to various cross functions like SCM, project management and quality for understanding the customer requirements and specifications in case if required.
7. Supporting to onsite installation and commissioning colleagues for understanding the customer drawings and other technical support.
8. Coordinating with customer and resolving queries and ensuring the engineering drawings are approved on time.
9. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

* Years of experience: 3-4 years with bachelor's in mechanical, Electrical />5 years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
* Hands of experience in 3D tools like Creo /pro-E, Windchill or similar PLM tools and AutoCAD.
* Experience with United States/North American design standards / IEEE is a positive factor * Expect Excellent Communication and interpersonal skill
