The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is currently seeking an Inbound Delivery Specialist to join our team in Bangalore, India. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to manage transactional activities in SAP, ensuring smooth data flow between suppliers, systems and internal teams.
How you’ll make an impact:
Create inbound delivery notes in SAP based on shipping documents.
Maintain SAP handling units, including physical parameters of purchased materials.
Work closely with Transport Planners and provide them with accurate data to ensure timely and efficient transport arrangement.
Communicate with internal and external suppliers, clarifying discrepancies between shipping documents and purchase orders.
Build strong relationships with Hitachi Energy’s purchasing and logistics teams, as well as direct-material suppliers.
Coordinate the inbound delivery data flow from purchase order through SAP modules until the delivery is booked.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree.
Must have 3-4 years of experience.
Should have Experience in logistics or purchasing.
Hands-on experience with SAP logistics or purchasing modules.
Knowledge of transport terminology, regulations and incoterms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail.
Continuous Improvement mentality and mindset.
Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level, spoken and written).
