Position Summary
Are you a strategic leader with a passion for transforming cancer care in India? At GSK, we’re looking for a Lead - Key Account Manager or Key Account Manager (KAM) to join our Oncology and Hematology business – a role at the forefront of patient-centric innovation and partnership. This is an opportunity to shape how we engage with key stakeholders and unlock solutions that improve patient outcomes in oncology and Hematology.
Responsibilities
Own and lead strategic engagement with key oncology accounts – including hospitals, cancer centers, oncologists, hematologists and healthcare networks.
Design and execute tailored account plans aligned with GSK’s national oncology and hematology strategy and local healthcare dynamics.
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, driving trust-based relationships and long-term partnerships.
Deeply understand patient pathways, identify challenges, and work across internal and external teams to co-create impactful solutions.
Collaborate with medical, market access, marketing, and commercial colleagues to orchestrate cross-functional efforts for a seamless customer experience.
Leverage insights from the field to inform internal strategy and ensure GSK remains a responsive and trusted partner in oncology and hematology care.
Champion ethical, compliant, and value-based practices in every interaction.
Embrace digital innovation, explore new tools, and help evolve how we support healthcare professionals and patients.
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
Education:
Graduate degree in Science or Pharmacy (mandatory)
MBA or advanced life sciences qualification (preferred)
Experience:
8–12 years in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with significant exposure to oncology and (or) hematology
Demonstrated success in key account management, field leadership, or stakeholder partnership roles
Strong experience working cross-functionally and leading without direct authority
Deep knowledge of the Indian healthcare system, oncology landscape, and patient access dynamics
Key Skills:
Strategic thinking and strong business acumen
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management
Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for innovation
Agile and resilient in dynamic environments
High level of integrity and ethical standards
Proficiency in English and local language(s)
Oncology and (or) Hematology experience: 3-5 Years
