Job purpose:
The Hospital Channel Manager in the Commercial function is responsible for delivering the strategic objectives of the full GSK medicines and vaccines portfolio at specialist hospitals within assigned territories by leading a field force team, shaping hospital strategy, and building strong, patient-centric relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Develop and implement short- and long-term strategic plans at specialist hospitals for the overall GSK portfolio.
Engage key decision makers in hospitals to build long-term partnerships, improve account satisfaction, and increase access to GSK medicines and vaccines.
Drive omnichannel planning and excellent execution for focus brands and new product launches, ensuring account-level adoption and implementation.
Orchestrate appropriate activities and value propositions aligned with hospital needs to drive performance.
Lead, coach, and develop the field force team to enhance performance, capability, and talent, including career development and training.
Lead and enable effective cross-functional collaboration between medical, marketing, and field force teams for excellent implementation.
Manage and monitor all activities in the assigned territories to ensure compliance with GSK standards and local laws.
Reports into the Commercial Head / Hospital Manager Lead (per organisation chart).
Manages up to 10 direct reports, with no indirect reports.

Minimum education: University/College degree, preferably in pharmaceutical industry or medical field, required to fit the position objectives.
Medical background with 3–5 years of experience in field force and key account leadership roles.
Must demonstrate excellent communication, commercial acumen, scientific and healthcare knowledge, problem solving, strategic planning and execution, and collaboration and influencing skills.
Preferred: experience and network in therapeutic areas such as Pulmo, Rheuma, Endo, Cardio, Geriatrics, and Neuro, plus strong coaching, performance management, and people management skills.
