Get to Know the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Deal Desk and you will act as a strategic advisor to our regional sales team—structuring complex commercial deals, optimizing end-to-end management processes, and ensuring alignment with corporate profitability targets.
This role reports to the Head of Sales Operations and is fully onsite at the Malaysia's First Avenue Office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Deal Structuring & Advisory: Serve as the strategic advisor to regional sales teams on complex deal structures, pricing, and commercial terms to maximize profitability and alignment with corporate goals.
- End-to-End Orchestration: Drive cross-functional alignment (Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations) to move deals from creation through approval to final closure, resolving exceptions.
- Process Design & Optimization: Improve the regional deal management process to boost governance, and commercial velocity.
- Financial Analysis & CRM Insights: Conduct financial modeling, margin analysis, and pipeline tracking by CRM to deliver data-driven insights for negotiations and sales forecasting.
- Contracting and Compliance: Review contract documentation to ensure total compliance with company policies, accurate revenue recognition and agreement.
- Performance Monitoring: Implement tracking mechanisms to ensure closed deals achieve projected financial targets, identifying variances and optimization opportunities.
- Report & Strategy: Translate complex data into clear summaries and recommendations for senior leadership, while mentoring junior team members on deal desk best practices.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Experience: 5+ years in Deal Desk, RevOps, or Sales Ops, ideally within SaaS or enterprise software.
- Deal Strategy: Deep knowledge of enterprise sales cycles, complex deal structures, revenue recognition, and commercial contract management.
- Data & Analytics: Advanced financial modeling and (SQL/Python); proficiency with CRMs (Salesforce/HubSpot) and BI tools.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Legal, Finance) and lead negotiation support.
- Impact: Experience driving process improvements and translating data into actionable business recommendations.
