Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, digital media sales, business development, online media environment, or digital marketing role.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a business related field.
- Experience leveraging statistics or investigative research to build data-driven client narratives.
- Proven record of delivering pitches and winning revenue in frontline sales roles at leading sales organizations.
- Ability to thrive and deliver results in fast-changing environments without waiting for explicit management instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to immediately implement feedback to improve performance and "unlearn" ineffective patterns.
- Ability to communicate in English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

As the Senior Account Manager for the Media and Entertainment team, you will develop and manage relationships directly with Top IP Global and Japanese clients across Film and TV, VOD, Gaming, Anime and Manga content ecosystems. The Media and Entertainment team owns the mission to instigate digital transformation in large ad customers with high potential in Large Customer Sales (LCS), where you will be an advisor and consultant, as well as an advocate for clients within Google. You will use your analytical skills to grow existing business, develop and obtain new business, and support your team with account and market knowledge and other collateral.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers by identifying and solving client problems proactively and creatively.
- Build sustainable relationships with leading clients, media and creative agencies.
- Analyze data trends and client performance, and develop solid strategic client account plans.
- Learn and work with Google product experts to develop and deliver innovative solutions, optimize campaign results, identify opportunities to increase advertiser investments.
- Work cross-functionally within Google and collaborate on projects to drive client success. Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers.
