We're seeking an Operations Supervisor who will support the Operations Leadership and full staff.
As an Operations Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to assist the General Manager in leading and developing your team. The core of the job will be engaging with your team during a shift to ensure that the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, performance, and engagement are maintained. To achieve this, the Operations Supervisor will ensure that their team has all the tools needed to succeed for any task during a shift.

What we do (that you’ll be a part of!):
At our manufacturing studio, our team is responsible for creating and assembling customer orders from our Retail stores and online business. These may include beautiful pieces of timeless art, mounting a piece of clothing or a tapestry, or framing an unforgettable photo from an unforgettable moment. Our team processes the orders from custom technology, measures all the inputs to the highest quality, and mounts and frames the art with pristine perfection. They then work with our manufacturing and warehouse teams to cut the molds, wood and glass (all with saws and CNC machinery), and package and ship it back to our customers. We are a detail-oriented team who work with our hands all day to ensure our customers’ prized possessions are taken care of and that the end product surpasses expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a 30 person team and leading them to success via servant leadership, people-first management skills, and a player-coach mentality.
Drives team and individual metrics by communicating job expectations and performance goals; planning, monitoring, and appraising business and individual results (KPIs and behavioral); coaching, counseling, and managing employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintains a successful and efficient workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting process variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring team members and resources; studying methods; surfacing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning team members based on business and talent needs; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization and customer standards.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.
Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and employee requirements, implementing change.
Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
Resolves team members’ problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience in manufacturing
1-2 years of Manufacturing Lead or Management Experience
Ability to be flexible for all shifts
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Great work ethic and ability to motivate others
Team player who inspires and acts as a coach

The base range is $61K-78K, plus potential performance bonuses. Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and location.
