GE Vernova is a planned, purpose-built energy company that includes Power, Wind, and Electrification segments and is supported by its accelerator businesses. At GE Vernova, we are working to solve the world’s most pressing challenge—the energy transition. Our Gas Power business provides more advanced, cleaner, and efficient power that people depend on today while building the energy technologies of the future.
As a Continuous Improvement / Manufacturing Engineering Co-op within the METEM team, you will be an active contributor to tackling one of the world’s toughest challenges: providing cleaner, more accessible energy. You will apply Lean methodologies and engineering principles to optimize non-traditional machining processes that support the global power generation fleet.
Depending on your background, you will engage in one of the following technology areas: * Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) & Fast Hole Drilling (FHD): Gaining experience in non-traditional machining technologies to support turbine nozzles and buckets. * Electrochemical Machining (ECM): Applying engineering and chemistry skills in specialized industrial electrochemistry, providing a foundation for future growth in battery or fuel cell research.
At GE Vernova, we believe in the value of your unique identity, background, and experiences. We are committed to fostering an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered to do their best work because they feel accepted, respected, and that they belong.
