• Provide day to day leadership to the I&C technicians for all I&C and Cyber security related maintenance activities in order to retain an optimal availability rate of the power station equipment
• Ensure all I&C related maintenance activities are identified and executed in compliance with strategy approved by the Maintenance Manager, aligned with contractual obligation and safety regulations
• Review the routine maintenance planning and execution of relevant I&C equipment and ensure proper record of changes
• Manage subcontractors during planned and unplanned inspections
• Work closely with GE field service and inspection personnel to ensure safe and effective coordination and cooperation between all parties during planned and unplanned inspections
• Analyze incident reports and implement necessary corrective actions
• Review I&C spare parts for daily activities
• Comply with EHS requirements and ensure all sub-contractors and suppliers are compliant
• Support and implement relevant training for site staff and periodically assess the team’s ability and potential in the Control and Instrumentation fields
• Ensure appropriate tools and equipment are available on site for I&C activities to be carried out as per proper engineering practices
• Review all I&C related FSI to be implemented during outages and provide tools for FSI implementation tracking
• Attain broad understanding of I&C diagrams and schematics and equipment data sheet
• Work closely with Operations, EHS, Procurement, Electrical and Mechanical Lead, as well as with the Customer
• Successfully combine office and field work
• Communication with customer and MOE with Cyber security aspects
REQUIREMENTS:
• Willingness to work at heights
• At least 5 years’ experience working in an industrial facility - preferably industrial manufacturing plant or power station
• Previous experience working with systems: DCS -Alspa,Controlcad ,Controlsteam ,PLC/HMI- Wincc /Step7 .
• Previous experience with Cyber security philosophy and system.
• Previous experience with Preventive and Predictive maintenance philosophy
• Experience with troubleshooting and calibration of pressure and temperature transmitters, flow meters and sensors - mandatory
• Experience with 4-20ma systems and protocol with HART based controllers – mandatory
• Experience with Modbus and Profibus communications.
• Experience with, steam turbines, AC Gen- an advantage
• Good knowledge of CEMS systems – an advantage
• Experience with Water and Water steam cycle analytical measure
• Ability to be lead a small team of employees and subcontractors
• Knowledge in CMMS Maximo
• Knowledge in Excel, outlook, PPS
• Fluent Hebrew and good English
