Roles and Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute the BI and analytics strategy aligned with business goals.
Provide thought leadership on leveraging data to drive operational and commercial outcomes.
Use sound judgment to solve moderately complex operational, technical, or process challenges.
Partner with Operations, IT, AI, Service Sales, Marketing, and Finance to translate business needs into actionable BI solutions.
Challenge and validate information quality, using multiple sources to drive sound decisions.
Project & Delivery Management
Manage intake, prioritization, and triage of BI requests for visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of BI and service‑related projects across platforms and functions.
Ensure proper project governance, communication, process improvement, cost control, and quality standards.
Team Management & Communication
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing BI & Analytics team.
Foster a culture of continuous learning, data‑driven decision-making, and talent retention.
Build consensus, communicate complex topics clearly, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
Technical & Data Oversight
Provide oversight on data architecture, system scalability, reporting structures, and BI tools.
Oversee dashboards, scorecards, and reporting frameworks to monitor performance.
Ensure best practices in data governance, accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
Drive advanced analytics (e.g., predictive models, AI‑based insights) to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
Evaluate and manage BI tools, platforms, and vendor relationships.
Stay current on industry trends and integrate them into system and process enhancements.
Required Qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
Experience in Healthcare Services and Services Project Management.
Strong knowledge of GEHC applications (Smax, GLProd, SFDC, Siebel, eOM, MyOrders, etc.).
Expertise in SQL, data warehousing, data quality, ETL/ELT processes.
Advanced proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
Advanced proficiency with automation, software development and support
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to plan, document, and execute programs.
Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Passion for optimizing user interfaces, improving tool usability, and driving user adoption.
Proven team management experience and strong leadership skills.
