The Order Management (OM) Specialist manages customer orders of moderate to high complexity with increased autonomy. This role owns end-to-end execution for assigned products, customers, coordinating cross-functional activities to ensure timely delivery, accurate billing, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. The role serves as a primary operational contact for sales and internal stakeholders.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage execution of assigned orders, including complex configurations, multiple delivery milestones, or enhanced revenue recognition requirements
- Act as the main point of contact for sales teams for order execution queries and escalations
- Own backlog and date management for assigned scope, collaborating with factories, logistics, regulatory, and customs teams
- Plan and execute billing and delivery activities, ensuring adherence to applicable revenue recognition principles
- Ensure contractual, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met throughout the order lifecycle
- Execute and monitor daily operational KPIs for assigned scope
- Independently manage closure of partial and concession shipments
- Identify operational issues and proactively resolve them within defined authority levels
Required Qualifications/ Technical skills
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Business & Administration
- 3–5 years of experience in order management, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)
- Basic knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles
- Good proficiency in English to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
