The GE HealthCare Repair Operations Center is looking for new talent to join the PCS Demo team. Our team manages the equipment used across the country for trade shows, customer demonstrations, and any other application where we can show off our latest and greatest medical equipment. Our small and fast-paced operation prioritizes teamwork and collaboration to get the job done.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Work with a safety first mindset to keep self and other team members safe
- Maintain accurate records consistent with GE Healthcare’s good documentation practices
- Provide evaluation and constructive feedback in the development of new and existing work instructions
- Provide strong individual contributions to assist in the team’s overall success
- Complete all planned Quality, Compliance, and Safety training within defined deadlines
- Use basic hand and power tools to disassemble/reassemble equipment to meet customer needs
- Cleaning and disinfection of equipment
- Accurately keep inventory of assets and accessories using digital inventory systems
- Contribute to the improvement and sustainment of departmental Lean and 5s goals
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree, or a High School diploma and 2 years technical experience
- Proficiency to logically troubleshoot at subsystem and system level, using identifiable problem solving techniques
- Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process
- Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
- Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information
- Ability to communicate using English (or local language)
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office applications
- Demonstrated expertise with hand and power tools
- Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with GE HealthCare medical systems
