Job Description
Client facing role; responsible for the delivery of consultancy and software activation services at a client site(s) – specifically in the hospital acute care setting
Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area such as hospital operations.
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the broader strategy.
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
Essential Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree related to Health Sciences
Masters Degree related to Health Sciences or 1-3 years relevant experience
Basic awareness and understanding of the Healthcare industry – ideally in the acute care/hospital clinical operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Power Point
Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills
Dependable: able to work independently and consistently meet or exceed performance expectations.
Adaptable: able to adjust work and communication style based on situational needs.
Demonstrate an aptitude for critical thinking to included evaluation of ideas and synthesizing information into insights.
The ability to travel weekly (Monday-Thursday) to client sites nationwide.
Desired Characteristics
Ability to create impactful client facing communications and presentations
Deep patient flow and hospital operations expertise
Demonstrated data mining and analytical skills (e.g. using tools such as SQL)
Demonstrated experience in Change Management tools
Demonstrated experience in LEAN or Six Sigma tools
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
