Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a mechanical design, mechanical analysis or similar engineering position
This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. Citizenship. Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold US Government Security Clearance.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical design engineering position.
Possess an existing US Government Security Clearance
Highly motivated, passionate about the NGP mission, and with strong communication skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve technical challenges with sound reasoning, project planning, execution, and documentation
Experience with finite element analysis software such as ANSYS and 3D modelling software such as NX Unigraphics
Experience with structural component design and analysis
