HSE Leadership: You take overall responsibility for Health, Safety & Environment at a manufacturing site with around 100 employees, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, internal standards and effective preventive measures.
Safety Culture: Working closely with managers and employees, you drive risk assessments, root cause analyses and accident prevention initiatives while maintaining a strong presence on the shopfloor.
Quality Management & Quality Assurance: You strategically develop the quality management system, lead the Quality Assurance team and work together to strengthen sustainable quality standards across the site.
Leadership: You lead and develop the QHSE team, foster collaboration and create an environment where accountability, safety awareness and continuous improvement are part of the daily culture.
Audits & Compliance: You lead internal audits and support external audits and certifications while working closely with customers, suppliers, authorities and regulatory bodies.
Site Leadership: As a member of the site management team, you contribute to operational and strategic decisions and act as a role model for leadership, ownership and a strong safety culture.
Experience: You bring several years of HSE experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Experience in quality management or quality assurance, as well as initial leadership experience, would be an advantage.
Qualifications: You hold a degree in engineering, occupational health & safety, environmental management, quality management or a comparable field. Ideally, you are a certified Occupational Health and Safety Specialist (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) or hold an equivalent qualification.
Expertise: You have solid knowledge of occupational health & safety, health and environmental management.
Hands-on Approach: You enjoy working closely with people on the shopfloor and know how to develop practical solutions together with operational teams.
Working Style: You combine strong analytical skills with a structured approach to risk management, audits and compliance, while maintaining a pragmatic, hands-on mindset.
Communication: You communicate fluently in German and confidently in English (minimum B2 level), and you build trust through clear communication, visible leadership and a collaborative approach.
