Role Summary

The Site Supervisor (Day Shift) is responsible for supervising daily construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements. 

This role is site-based and reports directly to the Site Engineer and Project Team.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day construction and installation activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, technicians, and trade personnel.
• Ensure work is performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Plan 1 week lookahead & implement next day plans
• Verify work-front readiness before commencement of activities.

Resource Management

• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for daily activities.
• Monitor workforce productivity and installation progress.
• Escalate material shortages, resource constraints, and site issues.

Progress Monitoring

• Track completed quantities and daily production targets.
• Provide progress updates to the Site Engineer.
• Support preparation of daily and weekly site reports.

Quality & Safety

• Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Monitor compliance with safety procedures and permit-to-work requirements.
• Ensure quality standards and inspection requirements are achieved.
• Support punch list closure and defect rectification activities.

Coordination

• Coordinate with other trades, vendors, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in site meetings and planning activities.
• Support inspections, testing, and commissioning activities/

Logistics

• Coordinate with Forwarder from suppliers, vendors, subcontractors
• Receiving of product, flag Outage, Shortage & Damage to site engineer/suppliers
• All things logistic coordination until products moved-into location
  

Skills & Experience

• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–8 years of site supervision experience.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and installation crews.
• Ability to read construction drawings and installation details.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
  

Desirable Experience

• Data center construction and fit-out.
• Structured cabling and fibre optic installations.
• Telecommunications and network deployment projects.
• MEP and critical infrastructure projects.
• Oil & gas, Shipping construction projects

Location & Reporting

• Location: Batam, Indonesia
• Reports to: Senior Manager, Construction & Deployment
