Role Overview

 

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant with strong expertise in Data Center and Cloud Assessments, Infrastructure Modernization, and Azure Migration Advisory to support enterprise transformation initiatives across diverse industry sectors.

 

The role requires a consulting-oriented infrastructure professional with the ability to engage with stakeholders, understand enterprise technology landscapes, assess business and technical priorities, and contribute to strategy, architecture, transformation, and operational improvement initiatives. The candidate should bring strong domain knowledge across data center, cloud, hybrid infrastructure, resilience, security, governance, and service operations to help clients define and execute future-ready infrastructure outcomes.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

• Lead infrastructure consulting engagements across strategy, architecture, cloud, operations, resilience, and transformation domains.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business priorities, technology challenges, and transformation goals.
• Provide consulting inputs to shape infrastructure strategies, target-state architectures, and operating model recommendations.
• Evaluate technology environments and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization, and risk reduction.
• Develop business-aligned recommendations, solution options, and transformation roadmaps.
• Support cloud, hybrid infrastructure, modernization, service improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align recommendations with delivery feasibility and client objectives.
• Prepare high-quality consulting deliverables, including strategy papers, solution views, roadmaps, and executive presentations.
• Facilitate client workshops, discussions, and working sessions to support decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
• Apply industry leading practices across infrastructure governance, reliability, security, automation, and service management.
• Promote leading practices across infrastructure governance, service management, reliability, security, compliance, automation, capacity management, and operational excellence.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

 

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure consulting, data center transformation, cloud advisory, or infrastructure architecture roles.
• Strong understanding of compute, virtualization, HCI, storage, backup, hosting, DR, and cloud infrastructure domains.
• Hands-on or advisory experience with enterprise technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, VxRail, Dell/HPE/Cisco compute, Pure/NetApp/Dell storage, Veeam, Commvault, and similar platforms.
• Strong Azure knowledge across IaaS, migration, governance, networking, backup, monitoring, and security.
• Experience in assessment-led engagements, migration planning, target-state design, and roadmap development.
• Strong documentation, analytical thinking, presentation, stakeholder management, and communication consulting skills.

 

 

Qualification & Certifications

 

• B.E. / B. Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Azure Administrator / Azure Solutions Architect certification preferred.
• VMware, Nutanix, ITIL will be an added advantage.

 

 

Good-to-Have Skills

 

• Experience in consulting, system integration, managed services, or advisory organizations.
• Exposure to data center consolidation, cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and operating model design.
• Experience supporting pre-sales, proposals, solutioning, and executive-level client presentations.
• Ability to quickly adapt to the culture, pace, structure, and delivery expectations of consulting organizations.
