The opportunity
The Commercial Analytics team partners with corporate and private equity clients to unlock revenue growth, margin improvement, and deal value by applying advanced analytics across pricing, go‑to‑market, assortment, marketing, sales force effectiveness, and customer strategy—particularly in M&A and transformation contexts
- As an Assistant manager in EYP Commercial Strategy you will be a senior team member creating value for clients
- Develop and deliver data-driven commercial strategies by leveraging expertise and commercial analytics and business transformation aimed at increasing revenue and optimizing margins
- Design, develop and implement complex end-to-end analytical solutions and models for clients to improve commercial functions
- Build relationships with EY offices across the globe and demonstrate knowledge of regional practices. Responsible for high degree of GDS user satisfaction with engagement process and work products
- Innovate and develop industry leading ML and AI toolkits to standardize offerings
Job requirements
To qualify, candidates must have:
- A post graduate degree (MBA/ Statistics) with 4-6 years of related work experience
- Suitable consulting/ corp. experience
- Translate ambiguous commercial questions into structured analytical scopes and delivery plans
- Own end‑to‑end quality of analytics deliverables, including logic validation, insight framing, and executive‑level communication
- Proven experience in translating technical methods to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to determine risks and opportunity areas
- Lead and develop analytics teams to deliver high‑quality insights while building sustainable internal capabilities and partner relationships
- Develops internal team capabilities including development of standard analytic solutions and assets
- Proven experience in translating technical methods to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to write clean and efficient code in
- Python or R,
- SQL (including T-SQL)
- Power BI
- Advanced Excel including VBA
- Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure, GCP or AWS
- Working knowledge on AI development and orchestration including Agentic, RAG models while using Langchain and Langgraph libraries
- Talent to adapt to new challenges and ideas
- Ability to lead team of analyst and data scientists, reviewing analytical logic, guiding insight development, and ensuring executive‑ready outputs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to undertake international travel as per business requirement
