Financial Crime Crypto/Digital Assets Manager with English - EY GDS Spain - On site

The opportunity

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you’ll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on international projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You’ll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation. 

 

Your key responsibilities
We need to integrate a Manager Consultant in the Financial Risk Business Consulting area in GDS Spain to develop projects in the Financial Crime area.

 

Skills and attributes for success

· Blockchain Analysis: conduct analysis of blockchain transactions and wallet activity to identify suspicious patterns, trace fund flows, and support financial crime investigations across digital asset networks.

· Cryptocurrency Transaction Monitoring: review and analyze digital asset transactions to detect unusual activity, assess financial crime risks, and ensure compliance with AML/CTF regulations. Crypto Wallet Investigations and cross-Chain Transaction Tracing.

· Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) Compliance

· DeFi (Decentralized Finance) Risk Assessment

· Functional support for the design and development of AML technological tools.

· Communication skills with client for team reporting.

· Quality check of the team.

· Ability to report to senior management.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

· Bachelor or Engineering.

· Experience of 5-9 years in the field of prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism within the financial sector, specifically on L2 investigations, SAR reporting and complex investigations.

· Experience in Fintech, VASP or gaming/betting companies.

· Experience / knowledge in digital assets and crypto environment.

· High level of English (C1).

· Availability to work in On-site work model (Malaga office).

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

· Experience or knowledge in tools such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, etc...

· Experience with US market customers.

· Experience / knowledge about crypto.

· We will positively value contributing experience in Big4 or similar companies.
