EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship - Junior Wealth & Asset Management Business Analyst

We are looking for a motivated Intern – WAM Business Analyst to join our Financial Services Consulting team in Poland. This role is an excellent opportunity for students and early-career professionals interested in Wealth & Asset Management, banking and capital markets.
You will support experienced consultants and business analysts in transformation projects for international financial services clients, gaining hands-on exposure to business analysis, process improvement and stakeholder collaboration.
The opportunity
As an Intern – WAM Business Analyst, you will work alongside experienced professionals supporting business and technology transformation initiatives for German-speaking clients. You will learn how to gather and analyze requirements, document business processes and contribute to project delivery in a dynamic consulting environment.
Your key responsibilities
- Support business analysts in gathering, documenting and organizing business requirements.
- Assist in preparing process maps, user stories, meeting notes and project documentation.
- Participate in workshops and meetings with business and technology stakeholders.
- Help analyze business processes within Wealth & Asset Management, banking and capital markets environments.
- Support data analysis, research activities and preparation of project materials.
- Assist project teams in testing activities, including test case preparation and execution support.
- Contribute to status reporting, presentations and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with international teams and develop an understanding of financial services operations.
- Learn EY delivery methodologies, consulting approaches and business analysis best practices.
- Support knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Student status or recent graduation in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Banking, Mathematics, IT or a related field.
- Very good English language skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Interest in Wealth & Asset Management, banking, capital markets or financial services consulting.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within teams.
- Interest in and willingness to develop AI and GenAI skills, including the use of modern digital tools to enhance productivity, problem-solving and business outcomes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an open mindset and willingness to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Previous internship, academic project or extracurricular experience related to finance, business analysis or consulting.
- Basic knowledge of business analysis methods, Agile delivery or process modelling.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Power BI or SQL.
- Understanding of financial markets, investment products or banking operations.
- Exposure to German-speaking environments through studies, work or exchange programs.
- German / French would be a strong asset
