Legal Consultant

Ernst & Young Law Partnership is looking for Legal Consultant!

 

Job purpose

As a legal consultant, you will make contributions to the legal engagements to clients and internal projects. You will prepare legal advice in different areas of law, including regulatory compliance matters in the banking, insurance, capital markets, energy, AML&CTF. You will express ideas, facts or views in a clear and confident manner. With a clear focus on recognizing legal issues and anticipating risks you will be responsible for organizing the information systematically to reach logical conclusions and draft legal texts. Working under supervision, you'll contribute to presenting our work and our findings to the client.

 

Responsibilities

• Draft legal advice and documentation
• Conduct legal research, identifying risks and issues and provide reports and solutions
• Present high-value insights proactively
• Deliver legal excellence
• Propose business-oriented solutions
• Work effectively as a team member, sharing knowledge, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
• Build strong internal relationships

 

Requirements

• Master degree in Law (Bulgarian)
• Being a registered attorney-at-law is an advantage
• Between 3 and 5 years of previous practical experience as a legal consultant or attorney-at-law is a must
• Practical experience in the fields of regulatory and compliance (incl. banking, insurance, capital markets, energy, AML&CTF), is a must.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English language is a must
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
