Frostbite is EA’s proprietary game engine, powering many of our leading titles across EA SPORTS, Battlefield, and more. We develop shared tools and technologies that connect and empower creators throughout EA. On Frostbite, you’ll collaborate with accomplished teams and contribute to the foundation that enables the creation of immersive, high-quality games for players worldwide.
Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you will partner with EA Sports game teams to integrate new Frostbite engine releases, improving integration quality, developer workflows, and engineering efficiency.
This is a hybrid role based in Vancouver, with three days per week in the office.
What You’ll Do
Contribute to Frostbite integrations across EA Sports game teams, supporting engine upgrades, code merges, refactoring, and technical delivery.
Develop and improve integration workflows, tooling, and engine performance to increase reliability, accelerate upgrades, and reduce engineering effort.
Collaborate with Frostbite domain and game teams to improve engine APIs, developer workflows, and the overall integration experience.
Research, prototype, and implement automation and AI-assisted solutions that improve integration quality, developer productivity, and engineering efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on development experience in C++ and/or C#.
Experience with software performance analysis, profiling, debugging, and optimization.
Understanding of memory management, multithreading, and modern software engineering practices.
Experience working collaboratively within a software development team to design, implement, test, and maintain production-quality software.
Experience with version control and large-scale source code management tools, such as Perforce.

Experience in an AAA development environment
Experience with Unity, Unreal, game engine development, release, and integration
