You will work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).
We're hiring Senior QA Specialists for multiple teams at EA, each dedicated to a specific franchise. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and excellence of the game you support!
You will report to QA Leadership, helping set quality standards and best practices for our analyst and QA teams. You’ll partner with leadership and cross-functional partners to define and deliver quality strategies, test plans, and continuous improvements that help shape the player experience.
Responsibilities
You will participate and support the team's testing tasks, and help resolve challenges including hardware and setup.
You will create, build, and manage detailed test scripts and plans (including functional, network, edge cases, boundary, and pre-integration scenarios).
You will compile and communicate data across different sources; monitor bug entry/data quality, investigate and track difficult bugs, and provide clear, actionable feedback.
You will serve as a communication bridge between QA and development teams, ensuring alignment on quality plans and priorities; provide status updates via email and reports; represent the QA perspective in cross-functional and team meetings.
You will absorb, apply, and help evolve EA QA processes; drive team adoption of best practices and quality data entry.
You will mentor and support junior team members, fostering a player-first mentality and a collaborative team culture.
You will actively suggest and help implement tools, automation, and data-driven efficiencies for greater impact and productivity.
You will build effective working relationships with producers, designers, engineers, and QA colleagues across locations.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance or similar roles.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
Experience with defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Potential ability to mentor others on process and quality topics.
Familiarity with automated testing, telemetry, and data analysis.
Passion for videogames with a strong player-first mindset.
Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
Comfortable making data-driven decisions, reporting on complex bugs, and compiling risk/status summaries.
