You should be equally comfortable filming polished interviews, high-energy event coverage, product showcases, and creator-driven content while maintaining exceptional production quality and efficiency.

You’ll be responsible for filming high-res product beauty footage of collectibles which include cards, game-worn memorabilia, comic books, movie props, coins, magazines, and more.
Cinematic Storytelling: Compose visually engaging shots using thoughtful framing, movement, lighting, and camera techniques that elevate the storytelling experience across multiple content formats.
One-Person Crew Mindset: Comfort operating as a "run-and-gun" creator—handling camera, basic lighting (e.g., lightweight LED panels/softboxes), and audio simultaneously without needing a grip or director on set.
Social-First Capture: Shoot with platform-specific content in mind, capturing footage optimized for vertical (9:16) and horizontal (16:9) formats while anticipating editing needs. Proficiency with shooting on IPhones, Sony Mirrorless Cameras, Canon C70, and Canon C100.
Lighting & Audio: Set up and operate professional lighting, microphones, wireless audio systems, and camera support equipment to ensure broadcast-quality visuals and sound.
Event Coverage: Occasional travel to card shows, on location live events, and special productions to document content efficiently in dynamic environments.
Equipment Management: Maintain, organize, transport, and troubleshoot cameras, lenses, lighting, audio gear, batteries, media cards, and production accessories.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with editors, producers, designers, and social teams to ensure footage is captured with post-production workflows and creative objectives in mind.
BRoll Archiving: Digital Asset Management post filming, organizing project files, backing up raw footage.
Creative Contribution: Stay current on social media production trends, camera techniques, emerging equipment, and content styles while continuously contributing fresh creative ideas to improve production quality during shoots.
Post Production: Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud and Premiere pro and programs like Audition are a plus.
Photography: Ability to capture secondary still photography (product shots, behind-the-scenes, event photos, YouTube thumbnails) on shoot days as needed.
Professional Background: 5+ years of professional videography experience, preferably within content, media, sports, entertainment, or digital marketing environments.
Production Expertise: Demonstrated experience capturing high-quality content across interviews, events, lifestyle, product, documentary, and social-first productions.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing cinematic camera work, lighting, composition, storytelling, and experience creating both long-form and short-form content.
Camera Proficiency: Advanced experience operating professional cinema and mirrorless camera systems (Sony, Canon, RED, or similar), along with a wide variety of lenses and stabilization systems. Experience with macro lenses, polarizers, and glare reduction for product B-Roll.
Lighting & Audio: Strong understanding of lighting techniques, wireless audio systems, field recording, and on-location production workflows.
Social Media Knowledge: Understanding of how content is captured differently for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Facebook, and emerging digital platforms, with an emphasis on audience retention and engagement.
Travel Flexibility: Ability to travel for productions, auctions, sporting events, conventions, and other company initiatives.
Adaptability: Ability to work independently, manage multiple productions simultaneously, pivot quickly in changing production environments, and consistently deliver under tight deadlines.
