Job Description:

The Senior Accounting Associate's primary role is to provide various accounting and research support for the Payment Center of Excellence team.

Project Hire Assignment: This position is a temporary Project Hire assignment expected to last approximately twelve (12) months. Employment is intended to support a specific business need for a limited duration and there is no guarantee of extension, conversion, or placement into a regular full-time position at the conclusion of the assignment.

This role is responsible for the following:

Accounting

Month end journal entries and account reconciliations
Daily monitoring for suspended transactions
Transaction search and lookup
PWC audit requests

Research and Support

Handling of ad hoc payments via an internal payment platform
Daily research and email response to Guest Service emails regarding Guests who have had issues with their purchase (note that this is internal facing, not Guest facing).
Day to day ad hoc transaction research

Experience Required:

1+ years work experience in accounting or related field
Excellent accounting skills
Excellent time management and organization skills
Demonstrated excellence in MS Excel
Familiarity with audits
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to analyze data and correlate data attributes
Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills

Education:

Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Business or Accounting preferred

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.12 to $27.04 per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
