Work You’ll Do
Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document, support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Utilizing proposal management, project management, risk assessment, performance tracking and reporting, and knowledge management to provide software advisory and implementation services for clients in Life Sciences and Healthcare (LSHC) and Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) industries;
• Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments, utilizing Confluence, Miro, Microsoft (MS) Visio, MS PowerPoint, and fit-gap modeling, including Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT), fishbone diagrams, and McKinsey 7S;
• Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing critical path method (CPM), Kanban, Gantt chart, Jira, Smartsheet, MS Project, and MS Teams;
• Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, utilizing Agile methodology, Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, MS Visio and MS Teams.
• Creating project charters, schedules, and plans, defining project tasks, allocating resources, and monitoring project progress utilizing MS Excel, MS Project, MS Teams, Smartsheet, and Jira;
• Researching user reported issues with software systems, identifying root causes and resolutions, and implementing fixes, utilizing defect management, root cause analysis, Kanban, Six Sigma, Jira, Smartsheet, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and HP Quality Center (HPQC);
• Designing sub-components of larger systems, integrating applications with each other, and continuously optimizing system structure, utilizing Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD), and Business Process Management (BPM), using Jira, MS Visio, Mural, and Figma; and
• Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing defect management, root cause analysis, Agile methodology, Scrum, Jira, Smartsheet, HP ALM, HPQC, GitHub.
