Manager, Leadership Excellence
As a Manager in the Office of Leadership Excellence, you will manage the day-to-day operations, delivery, and coordination of the technology products, platforms, and tools that support Leadership lifecycle processes for 8,000+ Partners, Principals, Managing Directors, and Leaders. Your primary focus will be Elevate and Vantage - Deloitte's in-house performance management platforms - with additional responsibilities across other Leadership Excellence products and initiatives. You will serve as the operational bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, working closely with Leadership Excellence technology leads and technical delivery teams to ensure business needs are met.

Work you'll do
Program Management, Governance, and Execution
- Manage day-to-day platform operations across Leadership Excellence technology, with a primary focus on performance management tools.
- Coordinate system deployments with ITS, managing risk, timing, and communications to help minimize disruption during critical talent cycles.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinate with business testers, and provide sign-off before production releases.
- Participate in product demonstrations to validate that delivered functionality meets business requirements and user expectations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for critical system issues, provide real-time updates to leadership, and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
- Manage ongoing platform maintenance and enhancement requests, working with technology teams to evolve systems as business needs shift.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to support prioritization of development items and platform enhancements.
- Manage against budget while proactively escalating issues, ideas, and business needs.
- Contribute to broader Leadership Excellence initiatives as priorities emerge, including process improvement, transformation, and analytics workstreams.
- Prepare progress reports, status updates, and leadership materials as needed.
Stakeholder Coordination and Communications
- Partner with Leadership Excellence business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Manage governance and change control processes, facilitate sign-offs from Leadership Excellence leaders, and coordinate across stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Develop and maintain end-user documentation, training materials, and system guides, and support user adoption through training and ongoing support.
- Support change management and communications for platform updates, new feature rollouts, and process changes in partnership with Leadership Excellence communications resources.
- Support adoption planning as new tools and platforms are introduced across the Leadership Excellence portfolio.

The team
The National Leadership Excellence team sets strategy and leads execution across the Leadership lifecycle - admissions, development and succession, performance management, talent relations, and transitions - in collaboration with Deloitte businesses and firm leadership. Our objective is to enable consistent, objective processes that support Leadership careers and the needs of the U.S. Firms.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in program management, product management, or a related field in a professional services or matrixed organization
- Experience managing technology platform operations and coordinating across business and technology teams
- Experience leading user acceptance testing, release coordination, and governance or change control processes
- Ability to travel 0-15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Deloitte business experience
- Experience with human resources technology platforms, including performance management or compensation systems
- Experience using Agile or Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Experience creating reports, dashboards, or data visualizations using Tableau or Power BI
- Experience supporting partner, principal, and managing director lifecycle processes or similar leadership talent programs
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,000 to $155,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
