Job Description:
Procurement Process & Policy Development and Optimization:
- Assist in optimizing departmental procurement processes and policies, including the development and enhancement of processes across various aspects; identify and assess risks within the procurement process and develop appropriate mitigation measures.
Supplier Management:
- Support and drive overall supplier performance management initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and value delivery.
Compliance Management:
- Within the Department: Review and supervise key activities within the procurement process to ensure proper governance and control. Cross-Department: Collaborate with Internal Control, Audit, IT, Finance, and Legal departments to ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Project Cash Flow Control:
- Collect project forecasts and payment lists within the department and generate reports for submission to Treasury to facilitate payment processing.
Digitalization Initiatives:
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement systems to enhance procurement efficiency and transparency.
Training and Development:
- Support the training and empowerment of the procurement team to enhance professional capabilities and overall effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
Education & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Logistics, or related fields.
Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of data centre procurement / construction-related procurement is preferred.
Professional Skills:
- Strong logical thinking and risk awareness.
- Familiar with procurement processes, policies, and systems.
- Proficient in process optimization and policy development.
- Experience in procurement system implementation or digitalization initiatives is an advantage.
- Good understanding of project cash flow management and payment processes.
Core Competencies:
- Strong coordination and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
