Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Implementation:
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework.
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance:
- Extensive experience in the implementation and the maintenance of ISO27001 & ISO27701 compliance measures.
- Building and improving the risk management framework so it works for real-world operations.
- Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals.
- Oversee incident response and security operations.
- Coordinate with other IT and business teams to ensure security measures are integrated into operational processes.
- Security Operations & Monitoring:
- Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Technology & Tools:
- Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- Manage and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, EDR.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Communicate cybersecurity risks and threats to stakeholders at all levels.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address security concerns.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Significant experience in cybersecurity, including experience in security architecture, incident response, and risk management.
- Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are often preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of security technologies, protocols, and best practices.
- Leadership & Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Relevant Laws and Regulations: Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity laws and regulations.
