As part of the Korea License Compliance team, this role will support license compliance research, infringement history review, lead validation, and lead generation activities by leveraging Dassault Systèmes’ internal research tools, including DS EXALEAD and other LC research platforms.
The position will play an important role in identifying potential software IP infringement cases, supporting LC Investigators, and contributing to the protection of Dassault Systèmes’ intellectual property and business interests.
Role Responsibility & Job Description:
l Conduct investigative research into potential software IP infringement cases using internal tools, external intelligence, and available infringement history data.
l Utilize DS EXALEAD Tool and other LC research tools to review, validate, and analyze infringement history, license misuse, unauthorized usage, and potential compliance risks.
l Manage lead research, lead qualification, and lead validation activities to support Korea License Compliance business objectives.
l Support dedicated LC Investigators by preparing research findings, case information, infringement history summaries, and relevant supporting materials.
l Assist in compliance reviews related to contractual terms, license misuse, illegal software usage, and unauthorized distribution.
l Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including LC Investigators, Legal, Sales, Operations, and other cross-functional teams, to support enforcement and remediation activities.
l Support the development and maintenance of an appropriate LC pipeline through accurate research, timely lead generation, and case prioritization.
l Provide accurate updates and input for monthly, quarterly, and full-year forecasting by maintaining reliable research records and lead pipeline information.
l Contribute to protecting Dassault Systèmes’ intellectual property, software assets, and license compliance interests in Korea.
Qualifications:
l Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in IT, Software Engineering, Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
l 2–5 years of relevant experience in software compliance, investigation support, research, audit, consulting, sales operations, legal support, or compliance-related functions.
l Strong research mindset and proficiency in using IT tools, including AI-based tools, to improve work efficiency, conduct effective information analysis, and support accurate decision-making.
l Prior experience in audit, consulting, IT sales, software, legal/compliance, or investigations is highly preferred.
l Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data, identify patterns, validate information, and summarize findings clearly.
l Fluency in Korean, both written and spoken, is required.
l Professional working proficiency in English is highly preferred.
l Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global business environment.
