We are looking for a Sales & Services Operations Manager to join our multicultural and dynamic team, responsible for optimizing sales processes and service delivery for Dassault Systèmes’ clients and partners.
The Brand GEOVIA team works closely with the Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal and Services teams to ensure the effective execution of sales strategies and client commitments.
Based in: Vélizy-Villacoublay (permanent contract)
Your responsibilities
You will be responsible for coordinating the requirements of Sales Operations and Services Engagement to ensure the accuracy of forecasts, the quality of the pipeline and the optimization of processes. Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Sales Management (Sales Operations) – 60% of time
Forecast and pipeline management:
• Ensure the accuracy of forecasts, the pipeline and baseline data for all revenue types (by customer engagement model, region, partner)
• Validate quarterly revenue landing estimates (Estimated Landing, Roadmap To Plan) on a weekly basis via the My Client Engagement and Subscription Management dashboards.
• Identify at-risk opportunities and define mitigation plans in collaboration with sales leaders.
• Support the preparation of Brand GEMs (business reviews every 6 weeks) and Brand Board meetings (twice a year)
Strategic planning and execution:
• Support the renewal of maintenance contracts in collaboration with local Geo teams, and associated sales initiatives (reinstatement, amnesty)
• Ensure the implementation of the Geo sales strategy and client strategies in collaboration with the Marketing, Business Development and Sales Manager teams, as well as partners.
• Take part in quarterly business reviews with the Geo teams (QBRs) and prepare summaries of action plans
• Implement promotional offers in collaboration with the Sales, Finance and Pricing teams, and assist in the effective structuring of deals
KPI analysis and reporting:
• Analyze transactional KPIs (conversion rates, average deal size, sales pipeline coverage rate, attrition, etc.) to propose actionable recommendations
• Oversee key sales performance indicators and support teams in meeting their quotas
2. Services Engagement – 40% of time
Monitoring the services pipeline (signings):
• Classify services opportunities in the sales pipeline according to current criteria and ensure their quality.
• Ensure the consistency of the sales pipeline (project dates, data, etc.).
Quality of proposals and processes:
• Forecast, budget and resource management (and STC where required):
o Provide weekly forecasts of signings and analyze trends.
o Prepare the N+1 budget and review the budget quarterly with the GEOs.
o Allocate project teams in a timely manner (internal vs external projects) and mitigate staffing risks
• Ensure accurate time reporting and summarize key KPIs (billability rate, utilization rate, etc.)
• Where necessary, coordinate the ORB (Opportunity Review Board) process to identify and mitigate project risks.
Service partner management:
• Manage the partner and subcontractor ecosystem in collaboration with the Brand Services Manager (procurement, invoicing)
Transformation and continuous improvement:
• Support the adoption of new processes and tools, and propose improvements.
Your qualifications
A five-year post-secondary qualification from a business school or university
• At least 6 years’ experience in commercial operations, sales execution, business analysis, or multi-track project management, and managing a CRM system; proficiency in financial and ordering systems would be an advantage.
• Extensive experience in an international context, ideally in the software, technology or B2B services sector.
• Proficiency in Sales Operations and Value Engagement processes
• Knowledge of ICT sales methodologies
• Proficiency in CRM systems and forecasting tools
• Knowledge of finance software suites
• Ability to interpret business data, monitor KPIs and produce strategic reports
• Experience in managing partner contracts and ensuring legal compliance.
• Knowledge of project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Trello).
• Experience in a multicultural environment.
