Responsible for planning and executing triggered lifecycle campaigns (email, SMS, and push notifications) for Crate & Kids. Manages the creative briefing and campaign production process, delivers performance analytics, and optimizes cross-channel performance to drive customer engagement and loyalty.
This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
A day in the life as an Associate Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Triggers & Personalization...
Lead the end-to-end campaign workflow - from creative briefing and messaging strategy to development, testing, execution, and scheduled content refreshes (quarterly, bi-annually, and annually) across email, SMS, and push notifications.
Support Marketing Manager in the evolution of triggered strategy, implementation and maintenance of triggered lifecycle content for Crate & Kids (US and Canada)
Partner with Technology and Creative teams to set up, test, and render dynamic creative templates and product recommendation modules tailored to key Crate & Kids customer segments (e.g., Baby Registry, Age & Stage, Expecting Parents).
Track, analyze, and report on weekly and monthly campaign performance; execute A/B test plans to continually optimize engagement, conversions, and lifecycle performance.
Help maintain cross-channel messaging consistency specifically for Crate & Kids product promotions, Baby Registry triggers, and store/outlet communications
Collaborate with program managers to launch segmented triggered lifecycle campaigns for Baby Registry, Kids Design Services, Age & Stage triggers, New Parent triggers and others
Stay up to date on email, SMS, and push notification best practices and research the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities
Execute Outlet lifecycle communications, including openings, relocations, and ongoing weekly support.
What you'll bring to the table...
Lifecycle & Digital Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of email, SMS, and mobile push marketing strategy, deliverability standards, and consumer engagement best practices.
ESP & Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or major enterprise ESPs, including dynamic content setup and CAN-SPAM/CASL compliance.
Audience & Segment Awareness: Strong familiarity with parent and family demographics, child growth/milestone lifecycles, and baby registry customer journeys.
Data & Analytical Mindset: Skilled at interpreting campaign metrics, executing A/B test plans, and converting data insights into performance optimizations.
Cross-Functional Project Management: Proven ability to manage production workflows with creative and tech teams, balance competing priorities, and deliver projects on schedule.
Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills with a diplomatic, team-oriented approach.
