Responsible for planning and overseeing execution of timely email, SMS and push notification campaigns to our customers. Drive the lifecycle campaign/content calendar, partnering with cross-functional teams. Deliver reporting and analytics and optimization recommendations. Work to enhance process and campaign performance to accelerate channel performance.
This is an on-site position (Monday through Thursday) based out of our Northbrook, IL office with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
A day in the life as an Associate Marketing Manager, Lifecycle...
Collaborate on the management of lifecycle campaign calendar including content, send cadence, and audience selections for US and Canada programs.
Own the creative briefing process for bulk email, SMS, and push for US and Canada core programs.
Collaborate on the planning and execution of the email personalization strategy, email versioning and dynamic content plans.
Partner with the e-commerce team to develop a seamless linking strategy.
Continually refine production and deployment processes to accelerate lifecycle marketing initiatives
Collaborate with program managers (Gift Registry, Crate and Barrel Credit Card, Design Trade Program and others) to develop segmented lifecycle campaigns
Stay up to date on email best practices and research the competitive landscape to identify new opportunities
Develop presentations and communicate lifecycle strategies and performance with other teams across the organization.
Collaborate on lifecycle marketing test plan development to optimize channel performance
Lead reporting for weekly/monthly/ad hoc channel/campaign reporting, identifying and applying actionable insights, as well as deep dives into customer segmentation and email channel trends.
Manage the QA process for email, SMS, and push campaigns.
Manage day to day oversight of Email Coordinator
What you'll bring to the table...
Possess a complete understanding of ESPs, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud, email deliverability best practices and CAN-SPAM Compliance
Strong knowledge of retail promotional tactics and customer messaging best practices
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple partners and effectively gather varying feedback and inputs and develop appropriate action plans to address requirements.
Strong problem solving skills, detail-oriented, organizational and analytical skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong project and time management skills
Strong interpersonal and strong communication skills
We'd love to hear from you if you have...
A minimum of 2 years of hands on experience in developing digital marketing campaigns
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Experience using ESP tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget (preferred), Responsys, Silverpop, MovableInk, Attentive or CheetahMail – is a plus
Bachelors Degree in related field required
